| Description | ODG (Open Document Graphic) file format is associated with OpenOffice Draw - an OpenOffice application developed by the Organization for the Advancement of Structured information (OASIS) and intended for creating vector graphic drawings. Since this software is part of the free and cross-platform OpenOffice software package, it is not unlikely that ODG will soon be used as a standard for exchanging ODG drawings between different programs. In order to share ODG files, you should install OpenOffice on your PC. |

ODG is the native drawing format of LibreOffice Draw. It is vector-based and editable, but almost nobody outside the LibreOffice ecosystem opens .odg files. Converting ODG to PDF produces a page-faithful document that opens in every browser, every viewer, and every printer driver. Drop your .odg file above.
ODG (OpenDocument Graphics) is the vector drawing format used by LibreOffice Draw and Apache OpenOffice Draw. It is part of the OpenDocument Format (ISO/IEC 26300) and stores shapes, paths, text frames, gradients, and embedded raster images as XML inside a zip package. Native support is limited to LibreOffice, OpenOffice, and a few vector editors; Adobe Illustrator, Inkscape, and CorelDRAW do not open .odg directly.
PDF (Portable Document Format) is Adobe's page-faithful document format, standardised as ISO 32000. Every operating system, every browser, every smartphone, and every printer renders PDF natively. PDF preserves vector geometry, fonts, and images exactly as authored and is the standard format for distributing drawings, diagrams, and design proofs.
