Why would I convert CSV to PDF instead of opening it in Excel?

CSV is not a presentation format — it requires Excel or another spreadsheet to render properly. PDF is a delivery format: it looks the same on every device, cannot be accidentally edited, prints reliably, and can be emailed, archived, or submitted without the recipient needing Excel. Use CSV-to-PDF when you need to share a report, submit transaction records for a loan or audit, or produce a clean printed table from raw data.

Does the converter handle European CSV files with semicolons and commas as decimal separators?

Yes. The converter auto-detects the delimiter. European Excel exports use semicolons as the column separator (because comma is the decimal separator in those locales). The converter picks up the semicolon correctly and treats decimal-comma numbers as text strings, so 1.234,56 renders correctly rather than being misinterpreted as column separators.

What happens with very wide CSV files that have many columns?

The converter automatically switches to landscape orientation when the table is wider than portrait A4. For very wide tables (30+ columns or very long field values), font size reduces proportionally before columns begin to wrap.
