Will code blocks be formatted correctly in the PDF?

Yes. Fenced code blocks (triple backtick syntax) are rendered in a monospace font (such as Courier New or Consolas) and visually distinguished from regular text — typically with a light background shading. Inline code (single backtick) is also rendered in monospace. Syntax highlighting depends on the converter's Markdown renderer.

Will images embedded in the Markdown appear in the PDF?

Images referenced with the standard Markdown syntax ![alt](path) will appear in the PDF if the image URL is publicly accessible or if the image is embedded as base64 in the Markdown source. Local file path references (../images/chart.png) will not resolve on the server — host images publicly or embed them as base64 before converting.

Are Markdown tables supported?

Yes. Standard GitHub Flavored Markdown (GFM) table syntax is supported and renders as a formatted table in the PDF with borders and column alignment.

What Markdown dialect does the converter use?

The converter supports CommonMark and GitHub Flavored Markdown (GFM), which covers the most widely used Markdown syntax: headings, emphasis, links, images, fenced code blocks, tables, and task lists. Extended syntax from Obsidian, Pandoc, or R Markdown may not fully render.

Is there a file size limit?

The online converter accepts .md files up to 50 MB. Plain text Markdown files are rarely more than a few hundred kilobytes. Files that embed large base64-encoded images can be larger.
